Examining the impact of AR Weather Customization on Trust in Autonomous Vehicles

Abstract

This work studies whether allowing passengers to customize AR-simulated weather conditions in an autonomous vehicle affects trust, technology acceptance, usability, and emotional experience. Participants selected among sunny, snowy, rainy, and cloudy conditions before their journey.
