Towards Augmented Reality Support for Swarm Monitoring: Evaluating Visual Cues to Prevent Fragmentation

Abstract

This study evaluates augmented-reality visual cues designed to help operators monitor robot swarms and prevent fragmentation. It compares cues based on links, forces, velocities, and a baseline representation, measuring how visual support affects the perception of swarm structure and fragmentation.
